Discovering the Vôge
Main Text: Whether you’re a nature lover or visiting our area for a spa treatment, a short break or family holiday, you can expect to take home lots of memories. Enjoy the benefits of the thermal water from Bains-Les-Bains and open your mind while you wander the Vôge walks or cycle along the cycle path that follows the Canal des Vosges, exploring its local products, its heritage sites and its greenery. Visit the old 18th-century tinplate works, the Manufacture Royale of Bains-Les-Bains, which has retained its charm and is part of the largest industrial sites in France, birthplace of the first Bachelor of France, Julie Victoire- Daubié. Visit the Moulin Gentrey, a former potato starch mill and its museum, restored thanks to the solidarity of the people of Vôge. Contemplate the remarkable landscapes which are offered to you and discover a rich architectural heritage and a most diverse environment. A stopover in Fontenoy-le-Château is a must during your stay, with a stroll in the foundations of the old castle, a visit to the museum or marina to discover the town’s rich history. Put your senses to the test at the Adventure Farm, explore the barefoot trail in a couple or as a family; sleep in the unusual accommodation that this site offers (yurt, teepees, huts, caravel …) and let your mind roam the depths of nature.
