The heart of Pierre Percee – land of the lakes is the big barrier lake surrounded by forest with its unique shape like a marple leaf and its charming and ever changing atmosphere. It is situated in a typical rural Lorraine setting next to a picturesque Vosges valley.
The discoveries start the minute you put your feet on the ground. In a forestal environment protected from disturbance you can go walking on footpaths or cross country, discover the fauna and flora or enjoy the game and sport activities on offer.

300 kilometers signed public footpaths, mountain biking, a cyclepath which traverses the valley on an ancient railway line, picturesque villages, the museum of the the war 14-18, an ancient sawmill, a textile museum, a faience museum, a stonemason, a horse riding centre and fishing trails await you.
Nearby : the Donon and its roman temple, the crystal factory of Baccarat, the pole bijou (jewellery exhibition), the museum of the sources of hercules, the village of the books, the castle of Luneville, Aquamundo and Aqualune.
Nancy, with its famous place stanislas, the high vosges, the animal parc of St. Croix, the leisure parc Fraisperthus as well as the town of Strasbourg are about an hours drive away.
