Plombières-les Bains has earned a vast reputation thanks to its medicinal water sources for the treatment of rheumatim and digestive system diseases.
The Romans built baths there. From that time onwards, many famous people such as Montaigne,or Joséphine de Beauharnais have come here to treat their diseases.
